We are a non-profit 501c3 organization that strives to preserve the history of African Americans. We want our ancestors and their families to be remembered.
We VALUE cultural diversity and want to create a network of people who want to understand the past and to share their knowledge.
Our MISSION is to preserve historical properties that involved African American individuals, families, schools, churches and businesses. Such properties may have been overlooked in the past.
Our primary goals are to promote research of our history and family history, provide resources for historical and genealogical studies of our families, create a network of people with similar interests and assist members in documenting their history. Lastly, we seek out properties in jeopardy of not having cultural heritage being overlooked.
